Our Mission

Providing experiences for people seeking personal growth with the belief that it strengthens communities

The Foundation’s Purpose

RLCF is a place of conveying legacies that inspire, challenge, and nurture those whose lives we touch.

The Guiding Principle of the Foundation’s work is to create opportunities where...

  • challenge, adventure, and exploration foster self discovery and acceptance

  • participants cultivate and nurture their gifts and sense of call

  • out of their experience, our participants are invited and encouraged to offer their gift to others

We are born out of a desire to honor a life that was limitless. Our programming purposefully includes broad areas of involvement as reflection of the boundless curiosity and action of Ross Lynn.

We are driven by our belief that cultivating individuals who are joyful, bold, faithful, and embracing the world is a worthwhile endeavor.

Through our programming in the arts, outdoor adventure, and healthy living, participants develop an appreciation of the world and are challenged to enhance their communities.

We seek to bridge the world to North Louisiana through virtual connections and cultural exchange.

Our strength is in collaboration. We partner with other nonprofits and organizations that have complimentary missions to amplify the work and multiply the impact of donations.

Ross Lynn — Adventurer, Artist, and Musician

Ross was born and raised on the family farm in North Louisiana, and shaped as a young man by the sweeping mountain ranges of the West. It was in Montana where he learned to climb and found a passion for world travel. He shared a rope with many of the top mountaineers in the world on climbing trips that took him to six continents and the highest peaks in South America and the Himalaya.

Ross spent countless hours in his workshop chiseling with his hands as a blossoming artist and craftsman. His artistry transcended various mediums and styles, from abstract iron sculptures, to photography, writing, and music.

Yoga and meditation guided Ross in his spiritual journey later in his life. As a contemplative and student of Richard Rohr and Thomas Merton, Ross lived out of a deepening faith with gratitude and presence.

His life was grounded in peace and profound love, and he found expression through a quiet responsiveness of serving the greater good.
