What to Expect
Hunter will lead participants through an in-depth study of the spiritual wisdom tool, the Enneagram. Specifically, he will teach about the 9 personality types that the Enneagram describes, with emphasis on how knowing your Enneagram number can lead to greater personal, spiritual, and relational health. The workshop is designed to help participants identify their Enneagram number and walk away with tools, tips, and spiritual practices for each number. Hunter’s teaching style is winsome, conversational, and based in the narrative tradition of storytelling.
The Enneagram is a centuries old tradition that describes nine personality-based approaches to life. Focusing on motivation, rather than behavior, the Enneagram helps us discern both our brokenness and our path toward healing. By understanding our Enneagram type (one of nine numbers, 1-9), we begin a lifelong journey of spiritual work to move beyond episodic meaning and inherited patterns of behavior to wholeness and transformation.
Meet the Instructor Hunter Mobley
Hunter Mobley was introduced to the ancient spiritual wisdom tool, the Enneagram, years ago when he met master Enneagram teacher, Suzanne Stabile.
Hunter completed a multi-year old-fashioned apprenticeship with Suzanne as formation for his Enneagram teaching ministry at conferences, retreats, corporate events, and churches. Hunter is a teacher at Suzanne and Joe Stabile’s teaching center, The Micah Center, in Dallas, Texas, where he leads a year-long Contemplative Cohort program.
Hunter is the former Executive Pastor at Christ Church Nashville, home of the Grammy-nominated Christ Church Choir. In addition to his Enneagram teaching, he maintains an estate planning law practice in Nashville and teaches as an adjunct professor at Belmont University College of Law.
Hunter’s Enneagram devotional, 40 Days on Being a 2, was released by InterVarsity Press in October 2020.
