RLCF Participates in 3-Day Outdoor Experience with Lincoln Preparatory School

The Ross Lynn Foundation worked with Lincoln Preparatory School for a day of outdoor learning activities at Lincoln Parish Park north of Ruston. The school’s partnership with the foundation, which is dedicated to giving students unique learning experiences, was a success, drawing more than 500 students, teachers and guardians. During their visit to the park students were introduced to pitching tents, archery, building campfires, cooking their own lunch over an open fire and other outdoor adventure activities.  The hope is to continue these outings with the students utilizing the natural landscape as a classroom without walls.
