RLCF Residency Travels to Prescott, Arizona
RLCF was asked to send mural artists to Prescott, AZ to paint the mural for the Granite Creek Park bridge. Maggie Boudreaux and Shelly Nealy were the ideal choice to send. The results were amazing. Reflecting on her experience, Shelly shared, “The RLCF Residency was a refreshing get-a-way an opportunity to share our gifts of art. The Prescott, Arizona surroundings were beautiful and the community of people were a joy to meet.” Maggie shared, “The excitement, enthusiasm and gratitude the people of Granite Creek Park expressed for our efforts to improve the dark underpass was truly humbling. Work days were filled with curious onlookers from all walks of life eager to know more or lend a hand in anyway they could. These daily interactions touched my heart. It was truly a gift to be a part of such a wonderful project to improve this sweet little community and work together for a common cause.”
