4-H Outdoor Adventure Day at Lincoln Parish Park

The Ross Lynn Charitable Foundation collaborated with Lincoln Parish 4-H for an outdoor adventure summer day camp at Lincoln Parish Park. The kids enjoyed a day of canoeing, outdoor cooking, a photography walk, and creating a cyanotype photograph with items from nature. It is opportunities like these that open up young minds to all the possibilities in life and is a part of our work in growing lives that give back.

These opportunities would not have been possible without Jon Soul coming over from Shreveport with his canoes and Paul Wolfe driving up from Lafayette to guide the art experience. We are so fortunate to have a community that is excited to travel and share their passions and teach new skills to the local Lincoln Parish youth.
