Lincoln Parish 4-5 Discovery Club November experience!

It’s always such a joy to share creative experiences with others! Yesterday, RLCF Resident Artist Heather Gill led an collage art activity during our November Discovery Club meeting with the Lincoln Parish 4-H youth.

Before diving into their own projects, Heather introduced her exhibit, "Taking Flight: 50 Birds for 50 Years", which was on display at the time in the Creatives At Work gallery. She shared insights into her artistic process and showcased examples of her work, giving students a glimpse of what they’d explore that evening.

The group was prompted to blend human and animal images to create imaginative new characters—or creatures!—and they had a blast searching for the perfect combinations to bring to life in their sketchbooks.

We are deeply grateful for our partnership with Lincoln Parish 4-H and can’t wait for more Discovery Club events in 2025!
